Watching God Love You

Sometimes it is a surreal feeling when you watch what God is doing as He is doing it.  When He answers prayer about your children or family.   Or when He makes a way out of what we would call nothing.  Or when He just loves you with all His love and its just too overwhelming to speak of.  That is how the last week and a half has gone.  Its been fun, sad, scary, blessed and beautiful at times.  Each day has shown something different. But my love for Christ has been strengthened.  My confidence in Him and how He has created me has been made strong. Sunday 9/26 was great.  My friends Barb and Victor took over today at City Kids(kids church) so I could listen to Pastor Judah and hear about healing.  It was a great message and important that I was there to stand in for my step-dad in prayer.  Thank you Lord for healing him.  My step-dad has been cancer free for 25 days now.  He went through a tough patch during thes...

The First Day

Sept. 3, 2000.  This is the day I met my wife.  The day that I really saw Pam for the first time.  Pam and I had met briefly at the church picnic the week before but only for about 5mins.  I found out later that she already knew who I was.   My mom and my great wife had been having lunch every week or so for a while.  So it would seem that I was the one who was out of the loop.  Which in some ways has become a theme in my household but I digress.  When we had talked briefly the week before.  We spoke of our children that are all around the same age.  Which led to Pam finding my number through the church directory and offering my girls some clothes.  I said yes and told her I was home.  Now guys it was the start of football season and I was all ready to watch some football.  I had Kool-aid, red, and my comfy white shorts.  I had just came from the baptism of a friend of mine and was ready ...

Meet the family

This is the first blog I have ever done.  So, let me introduce myself.  My name is Willardth Smith.  I am married to a beautiful woman by the name of Pam.  We have six daughters(I had two, She had two, We had two together).  There is Moriah she is 15 and full of life and wears her heart on her sleeves, just like her mother. Then, Makaelah, 14, always under control for the most part but there is a passion for learning I never had when I was younger.  She also has a wicked since of humor.  Then the diva of the group, Ephesia, 13, Even though see is very into style and what looks good, there is much substance under all that style. Now here is the youngest of the older girls and my twin, Taja.  Taja is 13, and knows information on stuff you would never think anybody would know lol.  She is a sponge, a mediator, and a great ability to take what ever is thrown her way.  Next up the oldest of the younger two, Ruby, she is 7 and proud of it. ...
