Watching God Love You
Sometimes it is a surreal feeling when you watch what God is doing as He is doing it. When He answers prayer about your children or family. Or when He makes a way out of what we would call nothing. Or when He just loves you with all His love and its just too overwhelming to speak of. That is how the last week and a half has gone. Its been fun, sad, scary, blessed and beautiful at times. Each day has shown something different. But my love for Christ has been strengthened. My confidence in Him and how He has created me has been made strong.
Sunday 9/26 was great. My friends Barb and Victor took over today at City Kids(kids church) so I could listen to Pastor Judah and hear about healing. It was a great message and important that I was there to stand in for my step-dad in prayer. Thank you Lord for healing him. My step-dad has been cancer free for 25 days now. He went through a tough patch during these 25 days but we still believe in the healing power of Christ. Our worship dance group, called CDK, had the opportunity to minister in dance at Greater Mt. Baker. I was so bless at the Love that was shown to each other and towards the Lord. It was so powerful. I needed to be there to be encouraged. Then God blessed our group by confirming a invitation to dance at Christian Faith Centers' Celebrate Conference. This conference has had some incredible speakers and singers there and our group gets to be apart of it, wow. After the concert we was at. My family went to see my dad at the hospital. We sang for him, prayed for him, and just loved on him. In the mist of trouble God is there and working for our behave. Thank you. This is just one day of what has been very interesting week and a half lol.
So over the past few days that my wife has been gone we have had some good things and some bad things happen. But I have seen Jesus more and watched Him love me more through these days. Honestly I think I just missed all those things He did before, you know cause I was blinded be my silliness, and didn't tell Him thank you. I am a rich man because of the family and friends that are around me. I am blessed in so many ways but having Christ as my Savior, Father, Friend, Comforter, Leader, Way Maker, and All in All is the biggest blessing of all. He is there with my dad in the hospital and with my mom as she shows great faith and love for Christ while watching her husband fight against the sickness that had tried to kill him. Christ has been there for me as I try to keep the house running in good working order while Pam is away. He was there when I didn't get the financial aid I was looking for. He was there making a way for our worship dance team as we bless people at different churches. He was there when we got 4 boxes of food for our house. He was there telling me to write this blog. He has been there when I do the wrong thing. He is here just to be here as I write this message just because He loves me. Will you let Him be with you? I hope this is a blessing to somebody. Please leave comments or questions I do appreciate it.

ReplyDeleteI have known you for a few years. You have talked to my husband and I on the telephone. I feel as though the Lord has allowed us to meet.
Tim and I have been married for 6 years. He married me with 4 kids that he watched grow up. I have 3 step children, 15 grandchildren, and a great grandson. I lost a son on August 21, 2004. I lost a daughter in law August 7, 2010 Robyn made a mothers sacrifice. She chose to save her 3 month old son. Her survivors are Jeremiah Sr. 25, Jeremiah Jr. 4-1/2, Michael 3, and 3 month old Aiden. My son is going to need all the prayers he can get. Raising 3 young boys will be a challenge. This will be their first of many without the Mom Aiden never had the chance to know, JJ will miss as will Micky.
How do we help these little boys besides giving all our help and support? The older two ask where Mommy is, we told them that Mommy is a angel now. JJ and his 4 1/2 year analogy said I know my Mommy was a butterfly on the beach. Micky says Mommy angel house. I am open to suggestions.
First, I would like to say sorry for all that has happened to you and your family. Second, I believe your are doing it already. Keep praying for your children and grandchildren. Continue to be there for them. Continue to talk about your daughter-in-law and how great she is. Most importantly, Love God with all your heart, body, mind and soul. He is the source of my strength and the reason I have made it this far. Lord understands what happened. He had to give His Son for our sake. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me(Phil 4:13). It will not easy because it hurts but you can do it with Christ's help. I hope this encourages you. I hope there was something in here that you can hold on to. I do not have all the answers but I look to the one who does, Jesus Christ
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving us a glimpse into your world:) For whatever reason, at times I don't see what the good Lord is doing for me. It never fails...When I take the time to look back, I can honestly say If it wasn't for Christ I would have never made it through the obstacles placed in my path. God sure is GOOD!!!!
