Declaration

Just this past Saturday I saw a wedding of two of the coolest people I have ever met.  They represented generations of full-blown Christ following believers.  This of course reminded me of how important generations that follow Christ are.  As you know I have six beautiful daughters.  All with different personalities and abilities.  But, all have been shown Christ.  I want their lives to be Christ centered and Christ focus.  I believe God has men for them that has fallen in love with Jesus and that will fall in love with them also.  I believe that each child will be better parents than us, and do amazing things for the Lord and in life.  I want my future grandchildren to be able to look to myself and Pam and say, "My grand parents are awesome cause they love Christ and love us so much".  I believe I will be able to love my son-in-laws as my own and can trust them with the blessing of this family.  I believe my family will be a Christ-driven Christ-loving family full of generations and generations of great people.  None will be perfect but all will be made perfect through Jesus.  This is my heart for my family.

I want to take my family to another level.  My mom has been my example for leading a life full of Christ.  It hasn't been a perfect life for my mom by any stretch of the imagination but it is real, raw, and anchored by Christ.  My step-dad has shown me how to be consistent in loving God and loving a strong wife while being a example of a great man of God.  My dad(loving life in Heaven) reminds me to reach my potential.  My grandparents, Gigi and grandpa, let me know marriage can last long and full of love.  Big momma was a pillar of strength and dedication to the Lord.  My family has a lot of hmmmmm "colorful" characters.  Some have been and still are on drugs.  Some hide knives and weapons everywhere in their house i.e. my great-grandma.  Some have been very promiscuous.  And of course you have your liar's and cheaters.  Yet Jesus Christ has always been there rooting for us and wanting us to grab more of Him.  He has always wanted us to accept the great things He has for us.  We will always be a family of fighters, lovers and warriors.  I believe we will gird up our loins and fight for souls.  We will be prayer warriors and praise warriors.  We will be a giving family that will be blessed and will have more than enough to do the will of God.  We will go out to the mission field of our city, out state, our country, and to the ends of the earth to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Yes, my family has been grimy but thats not our goal or what we strive for. We will be very real and we will live for the Lord with all our hearts, mind, spirit and soul.  For us the next level is our whole family living for Christ.  We are made for the front lines and will be ready to roll.  We are ready for you Lord and all that you do.  We will follow you anytime and anywhere.  We are ready!!  So my question to you, the reader.....Are you ready?  Are you ready for battle?
