Because You, You alone are God

I'm just kind of writing.  I'm not sure where this is going to go.  Thursday the 4th was my dad's celebration service.  It was magnificent.  Everyone was happy.  Some, may have expected some boring no life funeral and was pleasantly surprised that we just worshiped the Lord.  There had to be between 2 to 3 hundred people in the church.  All ready to say good things about my dad and his influence on them.  But what really brought these people to see him?  Christ.  You see because of Christ in my dad he was a light to people.  A breath of fresh air.  People wanted to see him because he brought Jesus with him.  Some were friends of my mom and they raved about how he treated her and how he help her be better.  Some were co-workers that wanted to show support.  Some were friends that he loved and spoke about Jesus to.  And of course there was family who was bless to know him as uncle, grandfather, son, nephew, cousin, dad, and husband.  You see The Christ that lives in me will show no matter where I am or what I am doing because Christ doesn't hide from anyone.  If you know the Lord Jesus Christ then you should never ever TRY to hide Him.  He should be up front and personal with everyone you see.  You don't even have to say anything half the time because His light is so bright that people come to you.  Its like a big sign saying "hello, be my friend and talk to me".  Or "I love people because I love God so say hi".  Matthew 5:14 kjv Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  My dad lived this.  He was comfortable as a man, as a father, as a husband and as a son of God.  When you see that joy from peoples faces because they were bless because they came to a funeral and got a celebration of Christ instead.  That is priceless.  Or to hear someone say "I want to be in the choir and I can't even sing" because of the praise and love shown toward Jesus through the words and dance of everyone there.  There Is only one true God and He loves His peoples and wants us to show our love for others as He has shown His love for us.  We have two commandments.   One, love God with all our hearts, mind, soul, and spirit.  Two, love people.  Which does not mean let people do whatever they want and say it is ok.  That is just silly and not showing that you care for them at all.  You wouldn't do that to your child would you?  What it does mean is be there for one another, live life together, speak life into each other, and speak the truth of Christ to each other because if you can't love people then you are not loving my God.  Loving people is loving God.  My dad was good at that.  I hope this will inspire you to live to your potential and love on God and His people because He, He alone is God
