A Citizen Of Self

I am very happy that the election is OVER.  I got so tired of hearing both parties rag on each other. Political debates on Twitter.  Really!? on Twitter you want to have a debate on Twitter wow!  Facebook posts for or against whatever or whoever.  Ads ads and more ads.  I mean it was everywhere.  I couldn't watch Hulu without a ad come up about the elections or referendums.  Now we can get back to normal.  Most people(including me) not really watching what is going on in our government or state. Dancing with the stars, sports(I'm good for this one too) and really really not paying attention to whats happening around the world. Yep, back to normal.  Focused on me, myself and I.  It's not selfish at all.  I mean why should I care.

The fam

I had a great day with the FAM yesterday. We relaxed, picked up a tree, saw someone steal from the store then steal a car(crazy), decorated our tree and watched a movie. Its the simple things. Except for the car thing that was just weird and crazy. Merry Christmas

Why wait

Bachelor parties as a married man can remind you of things.  In this case nothing naughty (smile).  So somewhere between the groom licking a kiwi and us men playing street fighter.  The elder statesmen of marriage spoke some wisdom to the young cats.  We talked about don't wait to teach your kids.  Why do parents teach their kid how to walk before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to share before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to be a 6 year old when the kid is 4.  Because they are excited to see their child grow.  Then the child hits 8-10 and all of the sudden the teacher is nowhere to be found.  Why do you seem to be surprised when the child wants you to teach them how to be a pre-teen or teen before they reach that age?  It's almost saying I was never a teacher why are you looking at me.  You know what gets parents, fear.  So here are some excuses parents have used.  Why would I tea...
