Love is indescribable
We hear from many people. Why do you love me? We give many answers like "I love your eyes", "you are so sweet to me", or "we are soul-mates". But Love is still an action word. Or better yet a person but we will talk about that another time. When you truly love someone you are driven to "do". Whether you want to or not. You know what they want, you know how they are(good or bad or both), you lift them up when they don't deserve it, you become unselfish. Are you perfect at it? NO, not even close! But the more you love them the more you will sacrifice what you want for what they want. You give without wanting anything in return except the acknowledgement that they know and appreciate that you love them. But how do you put Love into words. I can't do that! I am not skilled like that, nobody is. The love that you feel for someone is so strong there are no words but there are actions. Did you notice I said nothing about the physical side of love. That is the byproduct of all those feelings inside. Having the physical before the "real love" and calling it love is not love. That's sex. Its what you prove during the hard-times or how you act during great success that really determines someones love. Yes the addiction of wanting to be with the person is real. Or spending lots of time with them. Or just seeing them and wanting to just hold them. All real but you really can't explain the emotion it is too intense! The next time we ask somebody to explain why they love us. Maybe, just maybe, we should ask ourselves who has been there for us. Who knows my faults and don't care. Who listens to us even when we are being a butt. Who tolerates us when we are soooooo mean. Who puts us first. Or who wants to put us first. Who shows us with their actions that they love us. Love doesn't make you choose and doesn't hold on tight. Love wants the best for you. Love trust if you want to fly away that you will come back and If you don't you have found someone that gives you that love. Therefore, you are happy, it hurts but you are OK with that as long as they are TRULY happy. You can't force love but it is intentional. It is powerful. It is truth. I hope this blesses you and makes you a better lover of people.
