Christmas Time

Its been a great weekend.  All my girls were at the house having a lot of fun.  We got a tree and put up the lights.  We made banana apple cider(or spice like Starbucks) its my own creation and it tasted very good in my opinion.  The Littles, Ruby and Essie, had a battle with their older sisters, Moriah and Ephesia, for the right to be called the Mediums.  The Littles are very tired of the name because they are older and wiser now.  At least as far as a 9 year old and 8 year old can be.  After typing out the Mediums I'm not sure I want them to be called the Mediums myself, hmmm.  Anyways, the battle was a good one and very competitive.  "Sorry" can be a vicious vicious game!  But in the end the "Bigs" win and shall continue to call them the Littles.  We had some family over.  We laughed and played.  We decorated the tree.  I had a great time and so did the family.  Then Sunday we went to church.  It was sooo much fun!  This is what Christmas time for me is all about!! Christ, family and  friends!

The fam

I had a great day with the FAM yesterday. We relaxed, picked up a tree, saw someone steal from the store then steal a car(crazy), decorated our tree and watched a movie. Its the simple things. Except for the car thing that was just weird and crazy. Merry Christmas

Why wait

Bachelor parties as a married man can remind you of things.  In this case nothing naughty (smile).  So somewhere between the groom licking a kiwi and us men playing street fighter.  The elder statesmen of marriage spoke some wisdom to the young cats.  We talked about don't wait to teach your kids.  Why do parents teach their kid how to walk before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to share before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to be a 6 year old when the kid is 4.  Because they are excited to see their child grow.  Then the child hits 8-10 and all of the sudden the teacher is nowhere to be found.  Why do you seem to be surprised when the child wants you to teach them how to be a pre-teen or teen before they reach that age?  It's almost saying I was never a teacher why are you looking at me.  You know what gets parents, fear.  So here are some excuses parents have used.  Why would I tea...
