Just A Thought

 
I'm amazed at how complex we make things. Kids text to other kids that are right next to them. Adults will pay much more for a item to get it now instead of saving to get it later. We only help someone if we have been told to do so by some organization. What ever happened to doing what's right even if its hard?
Or even if it takes a long time?
I'm over 300lbs and I got there by taking the easy route.  Now I'm working my way back. And I do mean working ugh (5:30 in the morning is too early lol). I've lost 15lbs and I'm hungry for more. For me it is simple. Do what I know is right. Listen to God and keep it simple. Convenience is not always better and the old school style has many benefits. Just a thought from a overweight writer.

God is good and he knows how to change me!!!! :)


Announcement time!  My great and awesome wife will be putting up a post on here Friday the 29th.  This is also is our anniversary.   Yea us!! 10 years

The fam

I had a great day with the FAM yesterday. We relaxed, picked up a tree, saw someone steal from the store then steal a car(crazy), decorated our tree and watched a movie. Its the simple things. Except for the car thing that was just weird and crazy. Merry Christmas

Why wait

Bachelor parties as a married man can remind you of things.  In this case nothing naughty (smile).  So somewhere between the groom licking a kiwi and us men playing street fighter.  The elder statesmen of marriage spoke some wisdom to the young cats.  We talked about don't wait to teach your kids.  Why do parents teach their kid how to walk before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to share before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to be a 6 year old when the kid is 4.  Because they are excited to see their child grow.  Then the child hits 8-10 and all of the sudden the teacher is nowhere to be found.  Why do you seem to be surprised when the child wants you to teach them how to be a pre-teen or teen before they reach that age?  It's almost saying I was never a teacher why are you looking at me.  You know what gets parents, fear.  So here are some excuses parents have used.  Why would I tea...
