All I see is flesh walking around
Smiling joking having fun

I reply "I'm good"
Silence
Awkward
Well nice meeting you
I push forward looking for a seat
A seat where none is around
I'm here to have fun
Yet the creepy feeling of being solo sets in

She was cool but of course taken
Solo again
Why did I come here
I could have stayed home
Is something on me
Why are they looking at me
Wow I'm the only black person here
Now I really should have stayed home

Or is it fear that I'm going to make a ruckus
Oh no the guys think my nerdy self is gonna take their girl
Or maybe I have the weed on me
There scared I'm gonna eat all the chicken
Or maybe its the big spot of ketchup on me

The fam

I had a great day with the FAM yesterday. We relaxed, picked up a tree, saw someone steal from the store then steal a car(crazy), decorated our tree and watched a movie. Its the simple things. Except for the car thing that was just weird and crazy. Merry Christmas

Why wait

Bachelor parties as a married man can remind you of things.  In this case nothing naughty (smile).  So somewhere between the groom licking a kiwi and us men playing street fighter.  The elder statesmen of marriage spoke some wisdom to the young cats.  We talked about don't wait to teach your kids.  Why do parents teach their kid how to walk before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to share before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to be a 6 year old when the kid is 4.  Because they are excited to see their child grow.  Then the child hits 8-10 and all of the sudden the teacher is nowhere to be found.  Why do you seem to be surprised when the child wants you to teach them how to be a pre-teen or teen before they reach that age?  It's almost saying I was never a teacher why are you looking at me.  You know what gets parents, fear.  So here are some excuses parents have used.  Why would I tea...
