Shame

Shame is a death dealer
The weight of the regret
The heaviness of the depression
It will crush you
Shame
Birth by sin
Birth by comparison
Birth by the devil
Shame
It can be debilitating
crippling painful
It feels like you can't breath
lonely paranoid fear
Is there any hope in this decrepit darkness
Yes and His name is Jesus
You don't have to live in shame
Jesus is bigger than it
You don't have to compare yourself any more
Jesus loves you and created you
He knows who you really are
He knows what you were meant to be
He knows your pain
He knows your sorrows
He has(past tense) set you free from sin
It is already done just receive your Freedom
From fear depression paranoia
You can get out of the darkness
You can have
Love, Joy, Peace, Patient,
Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness Gentleness, Self-Control
Because whom the Son sets free is free indeed
Don't let shame destroy you
Receive your freedom
Go to the One that gives life
And His name is Jesus
Son of the living God

    Wow that preachs right to the heart of so many hurts. Healing is in Jesus, freedom and joy unspeakable.

The fam

I had a great day with the FAM yesterday. We relaxed, picked up a tree, saw someone steal from the store then steal a car(crazy), decorated our tree and watched a movie. Its the simple things. Except for the car thing that was just weird and crazy. Merry Christmas

Why wait

Bachelor parties as a married man can remind you of things.  In this case nothing naughty (smile).  So somewhere between the groom licking a kiwi and us men playing street fighter.  The elder statesmen of marriage spoke some wisdom to the young cats.  We talked about don't wait to teach your kids.  Why do parents teach their kid how to walk before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to share before they know how to.  Teach their kid how to be a 6 year old when the kid is 4.  Because they are excited to see their child grow.  Then the child hits 8-10 and all of the sudden the teacher is nowhere to be found.  Why do you seem to be surprised when the child wants you to teach them how to be a pre-teen or teen before they reach that age?  It's almost saying I was never a teacher why are you looking at me.  You know what gets parents, fear.  So here are some excuses parents have used.  Why would I tea...
